Mike Alexander, President and CEO of Media Hill Publications is pleased to announce the launch of Adsupplier.com. Developed internally four years ago for use by Media Hill's stable of wedding publications the ad portal has been further developed as an online Software as a Service (SaaS) targeted specifically to small & medium sized publishers.
The portal allows publishers to post and confirm insertion orders, receive and transfer ad files and post soft proofs, according to Alexander.
“Our new ad portal allows Publishers to increase customer service levels by allowing them to concentrate on advertisers who require a helping hand getting ad materials ready. Automatic email reminders of deadlines help advertisers stay on top of critical dates and allows publishers to push ad material extensions even closer to press time than they ever have in the past” Alexander said. “This process is also environmentally friendly since it allows for the elimination of courier services and CDs that, after a single use, literally become landfill.”
While other publishers have signed deals with Web-based ad portals to manage their ad traffic, Media Hill began developing and using the portal internally four years ago using a sophisticated SQL database back end.
“We will continue to solicit feedback and comments from our users and refine the process as needed,” Alexander said.
